Day 1680: Butter Chicken

I had leftover Chinese food for lunch and Matt made himself chicken rice.

The neighbors gave my dad an old chair when he came home from the hospital and didn’t want it back when he unexpectedly died a couple weeks later so we’ve hired someone to come haul it away and a few other things we’d probably replace eventually like an old tv cabinet and a wicker love seat that was not comfy. It’s kind of annoying to have to pay to get rid of it honestly. I could fit the other things in my car but if they are coming then it makes sense to get rid of them now.

Anyway, Matt organized them all in the middle of the living room so they can pick them up easily. The chair was out in the walkway so I’m excited to get rid of it!

For dinner we tried the Costco butter chicken and naan. We steamed some cauliflower to go with it. I don’t think I’ve had butter chicken before. It was pretty good but again, I felt like it was more like 3 portions than 4. I can’t say it was cute but I’d eat it again.

It worked because Matt got back late from working at the other house and had a piano lesson after dinner.

My new fancy spinning wheel arrived! It was a splurge but apparently will do it all. I had to put some of it together but it wasn’t too hard.
