Day 1561: Pork Chops

We got lunch and stuff to make sandwiches at the Italian market.

We picked up some meals from a fancy farm to table meal prep place I learned about on TikTok. A woman was constantly making funky flavored focaccia and one day I clicked through to her bio and it turned out she was working out of a shared commercial kitchen here in Baltimore.

The pork chop and salad was tasty but not very filling. We did add on the focaccia ($10) which was excellent but as-is the portion was a little skimpy for about $17/a serving, I could see it at a restaurant for that much but we wouldn’t have heat it up ourselves and we probably would have gotten free bread. That’s the whole salad. The pork chop was pretty big! Not as dark as it looks in the picture.

It was really flavorful. We will see how the rest of the meals go, you get four at a time. Next up is chili which did come with cornbread. If it looks skimpy I might see if the baking potatoes I bought when I was optimistic about cooking are good and serve it over that.

I do like that it is not a subscription so we can stop and start. We might do it again if we largely like it when Matt has to dog sit so we don’t have to figure out two separate dinners too often.
