We got club sandwiches as we seem to once a week for lunch. They were a little messy to eat today. I think there is one person who is the best at making them there. They are never bad but sometimes they are better constructed.
We debated about getting take out for dinner because Matt was working late but then it turned to him working really late again so we switched to heating up some leftover pork and I made coleslaw. Buying the $1.20 bag of coleslaw mix really is one of my favorite things to get. I can make a tiny serving of coleslaw or toss it in with something else with very little effort.
The pork was even better today! We have a ton leftover still. Maybe I will freeze some? Then it’s okay in other dishes but I don’t love it in a sandwich once it’s been frozen.

I don’t know what we are doing this weekend. We had planned to go to a museum to see a new exhibit but there is a special event there later in the month so I think we are going to wait. I don’t feel great after all the migraines this week but it would be nice to get out.
Winter is rough when you aren’t eating in restaurants and avoiding super crowded indoor activities. Even going to a museum or whatever is awkward because eventually you have to eat. It’s so much easier to navigate when you can go to a park or eat outside and walk around. I am not a bundle up and sit in the cold rain or snow person! It gets dark so early everything seems to have a time limit.
True Detective season 3 is pretty solid! So far they seem to have made no headway in solving the crime (I’m in the middle of episode 5) but the story is better and there is less interviewing than season one.
