Today we went to Anthropologie to pick up an order then drove across town to the conservatory for the poinsettia display. It was pretty cute this year!
For lunch we got fancy fries for take out and had our advent candy for dessert: by the makers of Hi-Chew, meet Hi-Soft salted caramel. It was pretty good and still chewy.

For dinner we had some frozen pork dumplings and I had some popcorn. We were pretty full from lunch!
We watched the holiday American celebrity baking show and tried to nail down what we are making for Hanukkah and Christmas this year. My goal is easy and fun so I’m thinking latkes and some kind of roast then ham and British-y sides for Christmas. We’ve never been on our own for Christmas before! Maybe a cake? Christmas is a Monday so we would have time to actually make something ahead of time,
