Today was a mess. The turkey wasn’t defrosted, Matt tried to get one at two different stores that said they had them in stock on their website and they didn’t have them.
He stopped at the bakery and got some doughnuts and a pie.

The we called around to six stores and no one had fresh turkey. Canceled fake Thanksgiving.
Pivoted to sushi for lunch and then he ended up going to three stores looking for a beef roast. Finally found one so he ended up making that, mashed potatoes and roasted kohlrabi, celery and carrots.
Now we have a still frozen turkey to deal with. I guess I’ll make it Monday? I was really looking forward to stuffing. At least we will have pie tomorrow?
