We did a day trip up to the tippytop of Delaware to the Steam Museum to see their collection of Stanley Steamer cars for Steaming Days. I love a good transportation museum it was super well done.
The website of the museum said we could bring a picnic so we picked up sandwiches at a local coffee shop and they were really good! Mine was ham with Swiss, tomato and pickled onions with some honey mustard. The staff was super nice about swapping out the bread. There were a lot of picnic table at the museum which was nice; it’s on the grounds of house. Matt got ice cream at a truck we’ve seen at other PA/DE events and we chatted with a perky family.
For dinner we had leftover stew as planned but we didn’t have as much left as I expected but we did make popovers so it was fine.
