For lunch I had a sandwich with the leftover Costco chicken and some chips and cherries. Matt had some canned soup and added more chicken.
I worked on the blogs and the knit along. I didn’t get as much done earlier in the month while I was away as I hoped I would! My arm was sore from the weaving and knitting so I took a break but now I want to catch up!

Matt worked from home because he didn’t sleep and didn’t feel well but worked late and we had the leftover pizza for dinner. I’m still waiting for dinner inspiration!
I got a bunch of cherries from a client yesterday and already had cherries from Costco so I need to think of a recipe to use them up! Or eat a lot of cherries very quickly.
Matt wants to try doing a long weekend away with the dogs sometime this fall and we are debating Chincateague. We found place that allows three dogs which isn’t easy. It’s the oyster festival weekend which I don’t think we’d want to go to but at least then we’d know things would probably be open? Even during the high season it looks like most places on the island are only open Thursday-Sunday. But you know Covid is over and everything is back to normal!
Last year we went to Cape May for a week and that was a little long and required a lot of plotting out what restaurant was open when so we could get food and most of the stores weren’t open many hours or days. Anyway, that plus having the same troubles on my trip to Ocean Grove/Asbury Park and my recent trip to the Delaware River Gap/Bethlehem PA and the difficultly of even successful day trips lately has told us that going away for a full week isn’t very relaxing! It would be nice to go away but I’m not going away to cook and do nothing on “vacation”.
