Day 1139: Lamb Kofta

Lots of odds and ends done today.

I wasn’t planning on grocery shopping but 2/3 of the girls were sleeping in their crates so I took advantage of the situation, locked them up and dashed to Lidl. I got a few things (we were totally out of eggs) so we will see if I need to do a bigger shop later in the week. I hope not!

I had leftover Chinese takeout for lunch as planned, Matt went into work and had bibimbap.

I waxed my new spinning wheel part and did a cyantype on a weaving. Went back and forth about the book.

Tried to do a little spinning but kept getting interrupted and had to help my dad with something over the phone which took forever.

For dinner we had two days’ worth of leftover potatoes and some leftover yellow squash and made fresh lamb kofta. Easy-peasy!

The figs are growing! We get figs twice a year from this tree but we pruned it last year so I wasn’t sure how it would be. It’s oddly cold so I hope they are okay. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get another frost.

Had another slice of chiffon cake.
