This morning I got up early and made snippy noodle cake (noodle free!) for both the book and as a snack for my guild meeting.

For lunch I made egg salad and we had it on milk bread. Guild meeting days are always a little odd food-wise. Normally we don’t have food at the meetings and I don’t like to eat too close to making the drive. But then I don’t get home until dinner time and I’m really hungry!
The meeting was fun, we had a guest speaker and demo which is why another member asked if I wanted to bring anything. They all know I’m trying to test all these recipes and need eaters! The talk was interesting.
Everyone liked the cakes! I’m glad I made two different ones. It was interesting because some people had a very clear preference for one over the other. No leftovers of the loaf cake! I only had a tiny crumb and Matt didn’t get any. The snippy noodle cake was a 9×13 I cut into tiny squares and there were a few left but not much.
I texted Matt when I left so he started dinner—roasted potatoes and yellow squash and bison burgers—so it would be ready when I came in.
We watched Katla on Netflix and I worked on a weaving that might work for my guild project due next meeting.
