Day 1080: Pancakes

Today was a long day!

Matt made pancakes for breakfast and then I ran some errands way out in the suburbs and went to my weaving guild meeting.

We had a guest speaker who unexpectedly talked about death and natural disaster planning for weavers. So cheery! I did get to share my latest projects and talk about next year’s plans. And some Pokémon Go in.

Meanwhile Matt made the dinner he was talking up but for some reason made the peppers in the steamer pot I use for dyeing yarn that was stored in the basement so we couldn’t eat that. He also made pork which was tasty but my jaw still sort of hurts and it was chewy.

I had some popcorn and a tiny bit of candy and worked on a knit wash cloth.

I was going to prep a roast for the slow cooker but honestly I’m too tired and I’m not entirely sure it will be the best method. It’s a sirloin tip roast but very thin.

I have a doctors appointment across town tomorrow morning so we might just get take out if I don’t feel up to making it in a pan.
