Another food writer and I got a grant to do a project about vintage recipes and community cookbooks so we spent most of the day ironing out what recipes we want to include in the book.
I came home and had a late lunch—Matt made me a turkey and capicola sandwich again. He had already had his take out lunch leftovers from Wednesday for his lunch.
I then tried and failed to wind some yarn into balls for our first project from the book. I have never come across a skein that was set up so oddly. It wasn’t in a figure eight but in a giant floppy loop with one end running through the whole thing. It was horrible to work with. No wonder it apparently has been discontinued.
Matt had a sandwich for dinner and then he had to do more work. Then he made me fried rice for dinner with the leftover pork chops. He had a little bit too.
Then we watched Death in Paradise and worked on the scarf but my yarn is such a mess it was very frustrating.
