I slept late today, thankfully! I really haven’t felt right in days. Today I was supposed to have a spinning (wool) lesson but the woman’s kid had a fever so we rescheduled. It was such a dreary, cold day I’m not sad about it.
For lunch we had leftover croquettes and I had some chips. Matt had a peanut butter and lingonberry jam sandwich as a snack.
My tooth still feels weird so I really don’t feel like eating.
I worked on my cowl and we decided we wanted to work our way through You Will Be Able to Knit by the End of This Book by Rosie Fletcher together so I spent literal hours looking for all the yarn and subs for the yarn she calls for. I think it will be fun but the orders I placed are for an obscene amount of both yarn and money. I got as much sale yarn as possible. I wish we had DROPS yarn here in the US! It seems so affordable. I did order some from eBay, it was cheaper there even with shipping from Latvia (!) than to buy something similar here. But buying enough yarn for two people to do projects is a lot! It is a UK book which I think added to it as well.
Matt picked up food from Kung Fu 12 szechuan and we have enough for at least one more dinner. I love their eggplant with string bean and the pork/bean curd/celery dish so much. The shredded pork is really good. It’s far from us but worth it! I think we will try to avoid going on a Friday night though. Even for take out it was a long wait.

We watched Miller’s Crossing which I don’t think I saw before and I realized I use a lot of the phrases in my every day speech. Not the high hat but I ask the dogs “what’s the rumpus” all the time.
