1063: Insert Shrimp Pun Here

Today is a start of a run of busy days. Lulu threw up all over living room but seems okay. Matt ran across town to pick up our Valentine’s Day candy for us and my dad.

I went to Aldi and got whatever had the best expiration dates because I won’t have much time to shop next week. I did finish the Carpenters episode of You’re Wrong About which was more informational.

I had frozen shrimp for lunch because I couldn’t find anything else quick and easy at Aldi and made shrimp pasta salad for dinner because we took a beginner knitting class out in the county that was from 6-7:30 and not near anything. I bought some heart shaped pasta at Aldi and bizarrely the white hearts all fell apart?! Luckily I had some other small pasta because I had to make it again. I made a huge batch so it can be one of our meals over the weekend too.

The salad was really good! I did pickled peppers, a little dill relish, Old Bay, lemon pepper, baby Vidalia onion greens and whites and celery (with greens).

Our knitting class was in a castle! It was very cozy, there was a dog there and a fire going. Not bad for $30 for 2 classes. We don’t go for another 2 weeks so I should practice. I took a class years ago (almost 20, I bet!) but didn’t actually make anything more than a scarf.

Came home, watched You.
