We planned to go to a festival down in PG County but it’s been raining for days and misting this morning and I could not get confirmation it was actually going to happen.
Matt had the idea to pivot to Chesapeake City and see if they had a history museum that might have a community cookbook for the grant project. It turned out they do have one so headed up! It’s about an hour away but an easy drive.
The museum was very cute with a friendly staff who was very excited about the project. I will have to send them a copy of the bookZ We got sandwiches at a little coffee shop with a view of the canal.
Then we went to a big fiber arts store and did some damage.
Matt walked the dogs since it wasn’t raining and we got food from Killa Dogz for dinner. I had the struggle dog and Matt had a burger. Tomorrow we will have more vegetables!
It was an unexpectedly nice day! It was very gray but didn’t actually rain and Chesapeake City is very charming.
